JVZOO - WSO PRODUCT REVIEW | Software - Ebook - Plugin - Theme - PLR - Training Review Activity Book Generator By Amber Jalink - Discover the Faster, Easier Way To Create Coloring & Activity Books and Printables In Seconds That You Can Sell To Raving Fans! Activity Book Generator By Amber Jalink lets you create unlimited adult and kids coloring and activity books, in under a minute! The activity book generator does exactly what it says: It creates Coloring and Activity books AND PRINTABLES with the click of a button. These can be published on Amazon KDP, or Etsy and anywhere else. The system is broken down into two parts: the Coloring book generator, and the Activity book generator, which also includes coloring mixed in. The coloring book generator includes both adult coloring images (created by me personally!), as well as Kids coloring images (which was created by my in-house graphics specialist). A walk through is available upon request, but the point of this is to help people REMOVE the barriers to publishing by having to come up with everything themselves, position it in the pages, and so on. It's SO simple, with about 3 clicks of the mouse, they have you could say, a "push button" approach to product and printable creation. Hundreds upon hundreds of hours have been spent over the past SIX+ months creating these graphics in addition to the programming. Initially I intended to have this out back at the end of May, however, I decided to make sure everything was RIGHT, and to give as many options as possible. With Activity Book Generator you have PLR rights in that you can use these to sell as you wish, however, you can not include plr rights to others. (There is an add on Developer option that allows that). We Gave A Shot by Peak Design - Field Notes After two years of connecting photographers and filmmakers with environmental organizations, we've decided to retire Give a Shot. Give a Shot (giveashot.org) launched in 2017 after we spoke with countless creatives wanting to support grassroots efforts but not having a clear path for getting involved. We developed the match-making platform to help creatives find nonprofits in need of content.A powerful film or photograph changes the lens through which we view the world — fostering empathy, reordering priorities, and fueling an urgency to act. Sometimes from inspiration, sometimes from outrage. As a company that designs products for creatives and outdoors enthusiasts, conservation filmmaking and photography is a natural crossroads. At Peak Design, we are still firmly committed to supporting this work and its creators, but have decided that providing strategic support to specific projects will be more impactful than the current iteration of Give a Shot.To be matter of fact, the main problem we faced with Give a Shot was a surprising one. Instead of not having enough volunteers, we actually struggled in getting nonprofit organizations to submit new projects. Orgs were simply unaware the tool existed or didn't know how to best utilize it. We know strong program management and outreach could remedy this but decided that our resources would be better spent identifying specific environmental campaigns in need of visual support and then sponsoring that creation directly. This conclusion was largely drawn from the success we had in providing a small group of creatives with grants to take on some bigger projects. The platform introduced us to incredible filmmakers and photographers with whom we still work. We posted about our friends Colin Arisman and Connor Gallagher's work for the Southeast Alaska Conservation Council (their film, Irreparable Harm, below) and Joel Caldwell's work for the California Wilderness Coalition. While we are closing up shop as we know it, Give a Shot has given us invaluable insight into the importance of connecting talented creatives with issues that need to be seen and heard.

Tech Zone 24 – Just another WordPress site While browsing the internet I came accross an amazing article from Semrush that I would like to share with you. If you enjoy this article then you can visit the original article using the link to the bottom of this page. You’ve heard people telling you that you need to write in-depth content because that’s what Google wants. And it’s true… the average page that ranks on page 1 of Google contains 1,890 words. But you already know that. The question is, should you be writing 2,000-word articles? 5,000? Or maybe even go crazy and create ultimate guides that are 30,000 words? What’s funny is, I have done it all. I’ve even tested out adding custom images and illustrations to these in-depth articles to see if that helps. And of course, I tested if having one super long page with tens of thousands of words or having multiple pages with 4,000 or 5,000 words is better. So, what do you think? How in-depth should your content be? Well, let’s first look at my first marketing blog, Quick Sprout. Short articles don’t rank well With Quick Sprout, it started off just like any normal blog. I would write 500 to 1,000-word blog posts and Google loved me. Just look at my traffic during January 2011. As you can see, I had a whopping 67,038 unique visitors. That’s not too bad. Even with the content being short, it did fairly well on Google over the years. But over time, more marketing blogs started to pop up, competition increased, and I had no choice but to write more detailed content. I started writing posts that were anywhere from 1,000 to a few thousand words. When I started to do that, I was able to rapidly grow my traffic from 67,038 to 115,759 in one year. That’s a 72.67% increase in traffic in just 1 year. It was one of my best years, and all I had to do was write longer content. So naturally, I kept up with the trend and continually focused on longer content. But as the competition kept increasing, my traffic started to stagnate, even though I was producing in-depth content. Here are my traffic stats for November 2012 on Quick Sprout. I understand that Thanksgiving takes place in November, hence traffic wasn’t as high as it could be. But still, there really wasn’t any growth from January to November of 2012. In other words, writing in-depth content that was a few thousand words max wasn’t working out. So what next? Well, my traffic had plateaued. I had to figure something else out. Writing longer, more in-depth content had helped me before… so I thought, why not try the 10x formula. I decided to create content 10 times longer, better, and more in-depth than everyone else. I was going to the extreme because I knew it would reduce the chance of others copying me. Plus, I was hoping that you would love it as a reader. So, on January 24, 2013, I released my first in-depth guide. It was called The Advanced Guide to SEO. It was so in-depth that it could have been a book. Literally! Heck, some say it was even better than a book as I paid someone for custom illustration work. Now let’s look at the traffic stats for January 2013 when I published the guide. As you can see my traffic really started to climb again. I went from 112,681 visitors in November to 244,923 visitors in January. Within 2 months I grew my traffic by 117%. That’s crazy!!!! The only difference: I was creating content that was so in-depth that no one else dared to copy to me (at that time). Sure, some tried and a few were able to create some great content, but it wasn’t like hundreds of competing in-depth guides were coming out each year. Not even close! Now, when I published the guide I broke it down into multiple chapters like a book because when I tested out making it one long page, it loaded so slow that the user experience was terrible. Nonetheless, the strategy was effective. So what did I do next? I created 12 in-depth guides I partnered up with other marketers and created over 280,000 words of marketing content. I picked every major subject… from online marketing to landing pages to growth hacking. I did whatever I could to generate the most traffic within the digital marketing space. It took a lot of time and money to create all 12 of these guides, but it was worth it. By January of 2014, my traffic had reached all-time highs. I was generating 378,434 visitors a month. That’s a lot for a personal blog on marketing. Heck, that’s a lot for any blog. In other words, writing 10x content that was super in-depth worked really well. Even when I stopped producing guides, my traffic, continually rose. Here’s my traffic in January 2015: And here’s January 2016 for Quick Sprout: But over time something happened. My traffic didn’t keep growing. And it didn’t stay flat either… it started to drop. In 2017, my traffic dropped for the first time. It went from 518,068 monthly visitors to 451,485. It wasn’t a huge drop, but it was a drop. And in 2018 my traffic dropped even more: I saw a huge drop in 2018. Traffic went down to just 297,251 monthly visitors. And sure, part of that is because I shifted my focus to NeilPatel.com, which has become the main place I blog now. But it’s largely that I learned something new when building up NeilPatel.com. Longer isn’t always better Similar to Quick Sprout, I have in-depth guides on NeilPatel.com. I have guides on online marketing, SEO, Google ads, Facebook ads, and the list goes on and on. If you happened to click on any of the guides above you’ll notice that they are drastically different than the ones on Quick Sprout. Here are the main differences: No fancy design – I found with the Quick Sprout experience, people love the fancy designs, but over time content gets old and outdated. To update content when there are so many custom illustrations is tough, which means you probably won’t update it as often as you should. This causes traffic to go down over time because people want to read up-to-date and relevant information. Shorter and to the point – I’ve found that you don’t need super in-depth content. The guides on NeilPatel.com rank in similar positions on Google and cap out at around 10,000 words. They are still in-depth, but I found that after 10,000 or so words there are diminishing returns. Now let’s look at the stats. Here’s the traffic to the advanced SEO guide on Quick Sprout over the last 30 days: Over 7,842 unique pageviews. There are tons of chapters and as you can see people are going through all of them. And now let’s look at the NeilPatel.com SEO guide: I spent a lot less time, energy, and money creating the guide on NeilPatel.com, yet it receives 17,442 unique pageviews per month, which is more than the Quick Sprout guide. That’s a 122% difference! But how is that possible? I know what you are thinking. Google wants people to create higher quality content that benefits people. So how is it that the NeilPatel.com one ranks higher. Is it because of backlinks? Well, the guide on Quick Sprout has 850 referring domains: And the NeilPatel.com has 831 referring domains: Plus, they have similar URL ratings and domain ratings according to Ahrefs so that can’t be it. So, what gives? Google is a machine. It doesn’t think with emotions, it uses logic. While we as a user look at the guide on Quick Sprout and think that it looks better and is more in-depth, Google focuses on the facts. See, Google doesn’t determine if one article is better than another by asking people for their opinion. Instead, they look at the data. For example, they can look at the following metrics: Time on site – which content piece has a better time on site? Bounce rate – which content piece has the lowest bounce rate? Back button – does the article solve all of the visitors’ questions and concerns? So much so they visitor doesn’t have to hit the back button and go back to Google to find another web page? And those are just a few things that Google looks at from their 200+ ranking factors. Because of this, I took a different approach to NeilPatel.com, which is why my traffic has continually gone up over time. Instead of using opinion and spending tons of energy creating content that I think is amazing, I decided to let Google guide me. With NeilPatel.com, my articles range from 2,000 to 3,000 words. I’ve tried articles with 5,000+ words, but there is no guarantee that the more in-depth content will generate more traffic or that users will love it. Now to clarify, I’m not trying to be lazy. Instead, I’m trying to create amazing content while being short and to the point. I want to be efficient with both my time and your time while still delivering immense value. Here’s the process I use to ensure I am not writing tons of content that people don’t want to read. Be data driven Because there is no guarantee that an article or blog post will do well, I focus on writing amazing content that is 2,000 to 3,000-words long. I stick within that region because it is short enough where you will read it and long enough that I can go in-depth enough to provide value. Once I release a handful of articles, I then look to see which ones you prefer based on social shares and search traffic. Now that I have a list of articles that are doing somewhat well, I log into Google Search Console and find those URLs. You can find a list of URLs within Google Search Console by clicking on “Search Traffic” and then “Search Analytics”. You’ll see a screen load that looks something like this: From there you’ll want to click on the “pages” button. You should be looking at a screen that looks similar to this: Find the pages that are gaining traction based on total search traffic and social shares and then click on them (you can input URLs into Shared Count to find out social sharing data). Once you click on the URL, you’ll want to select the “Queries” icon to see which search terms people are finding that article from. Now go back to your article and make it more in-depth. And when I say in-depth, I am not talking about word count like I used to focus on at Quick Sprout. Instead, I am talking depth… did the article cover everything that the user was looking for? If you can cover everything in 3,000 words then you are good. If not, you’ll have to make it longer. The way you do this is by seeing which search queries people are using to find your articles (like in the screenshot above). Keep in mind that people aren’t searching Google in a deliberate effort to land on your site… people use Google because they are looking for a solution to their problem. Think of those queries that Google Search Console is showing you as “questions” people have. If your article is in-depth enough to answer all of those questions, then you have done a good job. If not, you’ll have to go more in-depth. In essence, you are adding more words to your article, but you aren’t adding fluff. You’re not keyword stuffing either. You are simply making sure to cover all aspects of the subject within your article. This is how you write in-depth articles and not waste your time (or money) on word count. And that’s how I grew NeilPatel.com without writing too many unnecessary words. Conclusion If you are writing 10,000-word articles you are wasting your time. Heck, even articles over 5,000 words could be wasting your time if you are only going after as many words as possible and adding tons of fluff along the way. You don’t know what people want to read. You’re just taking a guess. The best approach is to write content that is amazing and within the 2,000 word to 3,000-word range. Once you publish the content, give it a few months and then look at search traffic as well as social sharing data to see what people love. Take those articles and invest more resources into making them better and ultimately more in-depth (in terms of quality and information, not word count). The last thing you want to do is write in-depth articles on subjects that very few people care about. Just look at the Advanced Guide to SEO on Quick Sprout… I made an obvious mistake. I made it super in-depth on “advanced SEO”. But when you search Google for the term “SEO” and you scroll to the bottom to see related queries you see this… People are looking for the basics of SEO, not advanced SEO information. In Conclusion If you would certainly such as to check out even more short articles on search engine optimization after that feel cost-free to search our various other articles. We have many more curated write-ups from semrush as well as I wish you delight in reading them. link to original source

Orpington Video and Film Makers | Amateur Film Makers since 1958 Based in Orpington, Kent, UK As you may have been saddened to learn, one of our longest serving members James Morton-Robertson passed away recently from Leukaemia. James Morton-Robertson – Memories from Jane Oliver Chairman of OVFM and personal friend of James. James Morton-Robertson was born on 11th August 1937 and was proud of his Scottish heritage. His broad Scottish accent never left him. As a young man, Jim studied to become a design draughtsman and was part of the production team for the electronic newscaster advertising boards like the one at Piccadilly Circus. Subsequently he set up his own computer software and consultancy business. This is where I first came across him. Some 20 years ago, whilst searching for a firm that could provide a computer with video editing software, I came across Amplix Services, Jim's business and went to see his edit suite set up. It was impressive. Soon I was parting with my well-earned cash. Jim built a high spec graphics computer capable storing and editing huge video files, loading all the software. He provided ongoing support, right to the end of his life, something that cannot be bought. He ran the 'Kemsing Video Club'. I began attending these meeting at his house with his wife Jennifer, Barbara Darby and other like-minded folk. We watched one another's films and discussed how they could be improved. Jim's feedback was blunt, to the point, even harsh at times, but it was honest and what I needed in order to learn and develop my filmmaking skills. James was an accomplished and skilful film maker who enjoyed a challenge. Using his technical 'know how', understanding of camera settings, editing tools and programs, he became an award winning film maker. At OVFM, he wrote articles in the club's 'Viewfinder' magazine, whether to provide training, review software or cinematic films. He took on the 'official' photographer role when asked to. His creative mind came up with all sorts of stories. Sometimes he was called upon as 'speaker' and I remember a session where he unpicked the famous 'shower scene' in Alfred Hitchcock's horror movie 'Psycho'; absolutely fascinating. As a prolific film maker he made films for almost every project evening, right up to our last meeting before lockdown. Having travelled the world extensively, he would treat us to his latest adventures. Australia, New Zealand, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Barbados, Sri Lanka, France, Spain, Germany, Ireland, the USA, not forgetting the wine route in South Africa. Another love of his was 'wine'; making it, tasting it and drinking it; he successfully ran the Otford Wine Club for years. With an interest of flying he joined the U3A Aviation section; spending time 'flying' his latest 'simulator' at home. Jim made films with me, Barbara Darby, Hugh Darrington, his first wife Jennifer and others. Jennifer sadly died in 2010. He particularly enjoyed making funny films with Hugh; often using animation and special effects. These fascinated him. 'The Open Road' in which a two 'slugs', narrated by Jim and Jennifer, set off on the open road one bank holiday, only to come to a grinding halt behind a 'snail' interpreted by him as a 'caravan'. What an imagination and what amazing animation skills! In 2015 he married Fran whom he had been friends with for many years. He was proud to be a Scotsman and wore the full Scottish regalia; 'Robertson' tartan, sporran and all' when he wed Fran. Now Fran would feature in his films, and 'Jim' became 'James' to me and a few others, but at OVFM he was still known as 'Jim'. He wasn't shy of acting in front of the camera. He had us in stitches when he donned his Lycra green suit in order to do a disappearing act. He stumbled both physically and in his speech when playing a drunkard in another film and Barbara Darby and I could hardly contain ourselves as we filmed James chasing an imaginary fly around the house trying to swat it with a rolled up newspaper for his film 'Obsession'. He had to have a gory ending, one that would prove he wasn't imagining the fly. He revealed a nasty squashed mess on the newspaper, generated with the use of 'special effects'. The credits included a note at the end of the film 'no fly was harmed in the making of the film'! His popular film 'Whitefella Dreaming' was beautifully narrated by his brother Brian, who having emigrated in Australia as a young man, had the perfect Australian accent to fit the bill. James made hundreds of films. We are privileged to have some of them in the archive. He entered film after film into competitions and with such a broad spectrum, managed to lift every trophy OVFM had on offer, all 12 of them. Very few of us will achieve this in our lifetime. James wasn't restricted to filmmaking; he joined the Otford Art Club and many of his paintings adorned the walls of his home. James taught me to persevere, to take on new challenges and to use gifts; art, storytelling, film making, whatever; to ensure our passion lives on to benefit future generations. This year, to keep up with the latest technology, he was learning DaVinci Resolve and Fusion, new editing programs that are too difficult for many of us to get to grips with. The film that meant the most to James was his award winning 'Hampden P1344'; the aircraft in which his father, James Morton-Robertson, the wireless operator, was shot down in World War II. James was only five at the time his father was killed. He dedicated many years to tracing one survivor, interviewing him, and to following the finding, recovery and restoration of that aircraft, now at the RAF Museum at Cosford. Barbeques, quizzes, garden parties, some with strawberries & cream, others with fish & chips, James accommodated them all in his garden; made even more beautiful by Fran's clever and colourful planting. Chatter, laughter, clanging of glasses is what I'll remember of these occasions, interrupted only by the sound of the Merlin engine of the Spitfire flying overhead, with James admiring it and waving as though it were flying over especially for him. Indeed he was a pilot, having completed his first solo flight in March 1959 in a De Havilland Chipmunk or 'Chippy' as they were known, whilst in the RAF in 1959, a career he didn't pursue. James was recently diagnosed with Leukaemia. He and Fran had hoped they'd get to enjoy at least another six months together. He had fibrosis of the lungs and sadly developed a chest infection. He slipped away peacefully at Pembury Hospital on 10th July 2020, just five weeks after his diagnosis and one month short of his 83rd birthday. James was given a wonderful send off, when Fran, unbeknown to others, had a recording played at the end of his service …… yes, the sound of the unmistakeable Merlin engine of the Spitfire, paying a fitting tribute to him. James leaves a huge void in the world of film making. We will miss him very much. PETER MITCHELL We also lost Peter Mitchell too, who passed away a few weeks ago in hospital. Peter MItchell by Jane Oliver Peter Ronald Michell, was born on 9th July 1936 and enjoyed a happy childhood in the Brockley/Catford area of London. Peter excelled in maths and on leaving school worked in an engineering factory. His two years National Service with the Royal Airforce was spent in the Far East and he had fond memories of this time. On returning to 'civi street' he got a job in the civil engineering department at Imperial College, initially working with concrete and later in administration, where he served on a number of committees and joined the college's Holland Club. He gave loyal service to Imperial College, whose focus, amongst other things, is in engineering, remaining there for the rest of his working life. Indeed it was here that he met his wife, Janet. Rumour has it that he wooed her over breakfast! They married at the end of August 1974. He and Janet travelled throughout Europe and also went to America, during their happy years of marriage. Janet would spend time focusing on her love of Bonsai, whilst Peter focused his attention on capturing photographic records of these holidays. Peter belonged to a number of clubs, including dining clubs, computer clubs, camera clubs and OVFM. His great love was photography. He always had his camera with him, taking photos, composing each shot to give the best image, developing them and exhibiting them, winning many awards for his work. At OVFM, whilst he did not produce films, he enjoyed watching those of other club members, joining in constructive feedback to filmmakers. He was a regular attendee, only missing evenings through holidays or illness. He introduced us to a speaker from his computer club, Andrew Bishop, a professional animator, who fascinated us with his wonderful mind boggling creations. We, at OVFM, will remember Peter as a quiet, calm and mild mannered gentleman who, over coffee, would share his love of the Japanese Bonsai garden he had created for and with his wife Janet, whom he adored. Peter was a Charlton Athletic fan, something he kept close to his chest, maybe having witnessed the banter and torment that rival supporters of Arsenal and Chelsea levelled at one another from time to time. In recent years Peter was living with the effects of bladder cancer for which he had undergone radiotherapy treatment. Peter had become increasingly weak and tired. He spent the last two weeks of his life in Darenth Valley Hospital. He had suffered a collapsed lung and sadly passed away on 8th June 2020, one month short of his 84th birthday. Peter will be sadly missed at the club and we offer his wife Janet our sincere condolences. OVFM sends out condolences to the family and friends of both Jim and Peter and if you have any memories or messages you wish to share about Jim and Peter, please reply to this post below. Thanks for reading.

Bryan Neubert Horsemanship | Welcome Bryan Neubert was raised on his family''s ranch near Salinas, California. In his teen years he became friends with neighbor Bill Dorrance. He spent all the time he could with Bill, working with horses and braiding rawhide. After college he worked with Bill steadily, starting and riding colts on Bill''s ranch. During this time Bryan met Bill''s friend Ray Hunt and Bill''s brother Tom Dorrance. He had many opportunities since those years to work for and with these gifted men. They have greatly influenced and helped him learn what he is able to accomplish with a horse and ultimately with parts of his life. Bryan has spent 20 years cowboying and riding colts on some of the biggest ranches in Nevada and California. Thirteen of those years were spent as cowboss in charge of cattle, horses and the cowboy crew. He has had valuable experience working with wild horses in Nevada, as well as conducting demonstrations on wild horse handling across the country. He has a video titled Wild Horse Handling. Bryan is eager to share what he has learned. He believes that he is constantly learning and considers himself to be a continual student of horsemanship.

David Bates Design I am a multi-disciplinary creative, drummer, and ex-skateboarder born and raised in Boston. In my 13 years in the industry I have led the creative process from conception to implementation, operating in a range of fields including marketing, graphic design, interiors, and experiential.  After graduating from UMASS in 2006 with a BFA in Graphic Design, I started working in the User Experience Design world at the start of the iPhone craze. After that, I spent years designing and illustrating album artwork, flyers, and posters for bands in Boston and LA. I switched gears again in 2012 when I started working for a commercial interior design company, which opened my eyes to a whole new world of design thinking and how to understand the built environment to develop meaningful spaces and experiences. In 2015 I moved to the fashion industry, originally as a marketing designer for ’47, a Boston based headwear and apparel company. You could say I like to try everything, but regardless of the industry I’m working in, I’m always trying to tell a story. My goal is to understand my particular audience through research and exploration, and let those insights guide my design solutions. I currently oversee the development of all visual communications at ’47 as Head of Creative. My responsibilities, while working directly with the VP of Marketing, are to spearhead the creative process for all Marketing and Brand initiatives. Not only do I manage agency partners, both in-house and external, but I dig in and get my hands dirty. I am an end-to-end creative who can develop a concept but has the knowledge to bring it life independently or as part of the team. Whether I am designing a concert series at SXSW and responsible for the stage design, artist management and run of show, or developing a seasonal campaign that answers complex briefs and collaborating with agency partners throughout execution, I am always ready with an idea or to lend a hand. I am I am fortunate to lead a wildly talented team of designers who are responsible for some of the work seen here.
