Trash Video’s career spans well over 20 years and contains dozens of full length and short films covering all thinkable and unthinkable genres; from zombie comedy to scifi-horror, from full length sitcom parody series to spaghetti western, from post-apocalyptic action to tough-as-nails crime films and all the way beyond. You name it, they’ve made it. You can find and browse all Trash Video´s movies here and in directly viewable form. Enjoy Trash Video! Trash Video is best known for their no-holds-barred attitude and unrestrained sense of humour. Common features in a typical Trash Video film are blood, bad language, violence and references to the Team’s original home turf, the notorious suburb of Hervanta. Trash Video is infamous for using the cliches of the seventies’ and eighties’ genre movies in an ingenious way, showing their love for the heydays of b-movie and creating clever homages to the forgotten masterpieces of the rental video era. Trash Video is also known for their guerrilla filming style. They use only minimal crew and bare essentials when filming and all the camerawork, editing, visual effects and such are done by the members themselves. The years of independent film-making have refined Trash Video’s efficiency in their craft and even their latest, more high class productions like The Video Cop series, have budgets of a few hundred euros per episode. When the length of their career, sheer amount of the productions they’ve made and the distinct style and originality of their films are considered, it is safe to say that Trash Video plays in their own league in the Finnish independent film making scene.
